Project Server 2010: How to Remove Delegation Access Given to Others
English
Access delegation is a process to authorize a user to performs action on behalf of delegated user. For example, John is a project manager for a running project. One day, he needs to travel for a week and delegate his role to his friend Doe. John will then delegate his account to Doe, allowing Doe to perform action on behalf of John. In the previous post about adding delegate we know that every delegate setting has predefined duration. Once the duration has ended, Enterprise Project Server 2010 will automatically revoke the delegate access and delete the settings. However, sometimes you want to remove it before planned expiration date. In this case you can remove the delegate access by removing it from delegate list.
Following Step-By-Step Shows How to Remove Delegate Access Given to Others.
- Open Project Web Access, and then click Personal Setting on the left navigation.
- In the Personal Settings page. Click Manage Delegates.
- In the Delegations page, select the delegation to be removed.
- Click Delete.
- Click OK in the confirmation dialog box “Are you sure that you want to delete the selected delegation”.
