Project Server 2010: How to End Delegated Session

English There are 2 types of working session in Enterprise Project Server 2010, normal session and delegated session. In a normal session, one will work under his own privileges and perform his tasks. In a delegated session, one will work on behalf of other users and perform other user’s tasks. During delegated session, a notification bar will appear in the notification area on every pages – indicates who he is acting as.

SharePoint 2010: Cumulative Update June 2012

English: A new cumulative update has been released, on 26 June 2012. It contains the latest hotfixes for the Microsoft SharePoint Foundation, Microsoft Office 2010 servers and Microsoft Project Server 2010. Make sure that you test the new hotfixes in qualification environment, and to remind you that in previous April 2012 CU there was small regression in the initial build. The team then fix the bit in the second release of April 2012 CU.

Project Server 2010: How to Start Delegated Session on Behalf of Other User

English On previous post, I already explained how to create and delete access delegation in Enterprise Project Server 2010. As a delegate user, access delegation will not start immediately. This is to avoid conflict between your own session tasks and on-behalf tasks. Access delegation will start when you decide to start and stop when you decide to end it. The session will be persisted in the server therefore once you start access delegation, you will be in delegated session even tough you have logged-off and re-login to the server.

SharePoint 2010 : SharePoint Server 2010–April 2012 CU package is no longer available

English: SharePoint Server 2010 April 2012 CU was released on April 24, 2012. Previously, you can request to MS Support to download the package. In the latest announcement on the package KB sites, they are no longer available for download due a technical problem. I am not sure what kind of technical problem on the previous package. I wish a refresh package will be available soon, since I am already download and apply April 2012 CU to my development VM.
